2021 The 6th International Conference on Power and Renewable Energy, the annual premier power and renewable energy development meeting, was held during September 24-27, 2021 in Shanghai, China. ICPRE 2021 is co-sponsored by IEEE Power and Energy Society and IEEE Industrial Application Society, and technically supported by Shanghai University of Electric Power, Shanghai Jiaotong Universtity, Shanghai Maritime University, Shanghai University as well as North China Electric Power University.

The conference chair-Prof Daogang Peng from Shanghai University of Electric Power, China, delivered the warm welcome for all the participants both online and onsite. He also talked about the situation of the development of power and renewable energy, and firmly believes that organizing international conference-ICPRE is very important and necessary. For the four days’ conference, we totally have 4 keynote speakers, 2 panel sessions with 8 invited speakers, 4 workshops, 4 onsite parallel sessions, 18 online parallel sessions, 4 Best student Competition Sessions, as well as a poster exhibition.
