The 10th International Conference on Power and Renewable Energy (ICPRE 2025) was successfully held in Hangzhou, China from Sept. 20-23, 2025. The conference was organized by Zhejiang University and hosted by the School of Electrical Engineering, Zhejiang University. It brought together nearly 400 experts, scholars, and industry representatives onsite, along with students, to discuss cutting-edge topics in power generation, transmission, storage, and renewable energy applications.

Women in Engineering Forum (WIE Forum) The conference specially set up a "Women in Engineering Forum," chaired by Prof. Ying Huang (IEEE PCCC WIP Chair, Zhejiang University) and Prof. Yuanyuan Sun (Vice Dean of the School of Electrical Engineering, Shandong University). The forum invited several Chinese and foreign female experts, including Queen Mother Delois Blakely (American author and activist), Dr. Jianhua Bian (former IEEE PES Chair & RAS Fusion CTO), Prof. Manyong Zhao (Southern Power Grid Dispatching and Control Center), Prof. Zexin Zhou (CSEE Fellow), and Prof. Wenping Qin (Taiyuan University of Technology). They discussed career development, academic exchange, and influence enhancement for women scientists in the fields of electronics and energy. This forum aimed to empower female scholars to voice their ideas and play an innovative role in cutting-edge technologies like new energy and smart grids. |
